One Week at Wookey Farm!

This weeks highlights:

On Thursday and Friday we ran a kids club. They helped feed and milk the goats, and in the afternoon sat around a fire in 27 degree heat. It wasn't surprising that they all submerged themselves in the stream before going home.

On Monday Ed and Ali created a postal service and me and Stine sent each other letters on the back of bits of cereal boxes.
Then we cycled to wells for the boat race in the moat and ate loads of food and I tried to explain to Stine why British people eat a different condiment with every meat. Never realised it was a thing before.

Today I milked the goats all by myself for the first time, closely watched by all the children from the campsite (no pressure). I also did some painting with Ali: I drew a goat and he drew pikachu. Did you know that children are still into pokemon and power rangers? That has been my biggest learning curve. We also played cricket, Piddy the dog was supposed to be fielding but kept stealing the ball from the bowler.

I haven't managed to take a photograph of Mr Pickles yet but this week I will make it my mission to capture him. Maybe my next post will be a bit more thoughtful...

Stine, Manatsu, Priddy and me :)
