Doggy, billies and big babies
Some exciting news stories from the farm this week.
Firstly, I only have one week left here! Time has marched inconveniently on and autumn has come. I am checking the weather neurotically, hoping it won't be rainy next tuesday when I have to get on my bike again.
Nextly, Priddy (the farm dog) was actually only staying with Ian and Sarah while her owner was unwell. The family have been nervously waiting for her owners to ask for her back (and hoping that they might have forgotten about her). But on Saturday the owners came over to say that they want to give Priddy to Ian, Sarah and the boys which was very good news indeed. Priddy loves being outside so going back to living mostly in a house wouldn't suit her much.
It is the season for romance at Wookey Farm: we have 2 pens of nanny goats and have introduced a billy goat to each pen. The billies are trying to shmooze the girls with varying degrees of success, they are so intent on romancing the nannies that they barely eat. The nannies, on the other hand, haven't lost their appetites to love just yet.
With the billies arrival the two babies who still live with the nannies have had to join the rest of the young goats in the Donkey Pen. Which means I no longer have to contend with Tiny Tina during milking time. Although I do have to contend with a randy billy goat.
Also, it's raining.

Aw great news about Priddy, although you might need to steal her away with you next Tuesday!
